Lois Bergman Obituary

Lois Lynn (Suits) Bergman passed away peacefully to her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 with siblings by her side after a brave battle with cancer for the past 11+ years.

Lois was born on October 22, 1951 to Herman and Thea (Franzen) Suits who have preceded her in death.  Survivors include her sister Carol (Everett) Johnson, brothers Lowell (Micki) Suits and Mitchell (Laura) Suits.

Lois was married to Robert Bergman who preceded her in death.  She is also survived by In-laws, Rick and Rhonda Roesch, Richard and Diane Bergman, Keith Bergman, Linda Bergman, and David and Dee Bergman, as well as many nephews and nieces.

Lois graduated from Rantoul Township High School, then was employed by the Boy Scouts of America for nine years and the Well Fargo Advisors for the past 43 ½ years.  She also considered the WFA her family and was still working there a month before her death.  Our thanks to Wells Fargo Advisors for all the kindness shown to Lois over the years and they’ve shared how much they already miss her.  Besides her full time employment she also had an antique business for many years at the Clinton Antique Mall.  The family also wants to express our deepest thanks to the Transitional Hospice staff who devoted wonderful care to Lois in her last days. Also a thank you to Dr. Kendrith Rowland and his staff for all the love and care given to Lois.

Lois was a life member of the American Lutheran Church in Rantoul. There, Lois so enjoyed her Bible study group.
