David Houston

David Samuel Houston, 65, of Rantoul, IL finished his mowing and then passed unexpectedly at his home on September 3, 2023.

He was born April 29, 1958 in Champaign, IL, a son of Robert Dale and Margie Louise (Martin) Houston.

He is survived by 3 sisters, Betty Northrup of Urbana, IL; Bobbie (John) Bolen of Kokomo, IN, Bonnie (Gary) Albers of Thomasboro, 8 nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son  Robert William Houston.

David attended Rantoul Township High School.  He was a truck driver for many years.  He attended church at Christian Life Church, Rantoul. 

David will be remembered for his smile and good heart, he was a gentle soul and the world is a sadder place without him.  Rest in peace dear David.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 16 at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 East Grove, Rantoul.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's  or the Humane Society.
